Drew Allan (b. 1967) grew up in Fernandina Beach, Florida a town rooted deep in history, pirate lore, seafood and beautiful beaches.  Besides his love for the ocean, music was his artistic outlet.  That passion would take him down the road to Orlando in 1991, where he spent a few years chasing the rock star dream then eventually enrolling into Rollins College to pursue a career as an Environmental Scientist.  During that time, he also developed a love for painting and designing.  However, it would be many years later before he would have the opportunity to pursue that creative urge again.

After moving to Sarasota, Florida in 2010 he continued experimenting with the arts.  As a self-taught, mixed media artist Drew found that he enjoys working with acrylic paints mixing texture and liquid mediums or resin on wood canvas. He started using wood canvases for wall art after first building and creating accent tables to display his art. Drew’s use and experimentation of colors and abstract style is what draws you in allowing for the emotional experience.  He utilizes various tools, textures and other random odds and ends that bring life to his images.
